Swift Teach’s story is driven by real classroom experience. The platform was founded by Gurbinder Mander, a veteran educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. As the Head of Computer Science at a leading international school, he witnessed both the incredible potential of technology in education and the day-to-day challenges teachers face. Gurbinder created Swift Teach with a simple but powerful vision: to harness AI in a way that empowers teachers and students alike. Having worn the teacher’s hat himself for decades, he understood that any AI tool must be straightforward, time-saving, and above all, respect the art of teaching. He wanted to eliminate the hours spent on paperwork and planning, so teachers could focus on mentoring students and igniting creativity in the classroom.
As Gurbinder often shares with colleagues, Swift Teach was born “out of a need to give teachers their time back and help students take charge of learning.” His philosophy is embedded in the platform’s DNA – from the emphasis on student agency to the commitment that AI will never replace the role of a teacher in the learning process. Under his guidance, our team continues to refine Swift Teach’s features with input from educators around the world.
