This Privacy Policy applies to the use of the Swift Teach website (from now referred to as the "Services"). It governs how Swift Teach (sometimes referred to as "us", "we" or "our") provide our Services to Customers and Users. When we talk about Customers and Users we might also refer to "You" or "Your".We respect your privacy and are committed to maintaining and using any information we collect through your use of our Services responsibly and in accordance with GDPR & FERPA
Swift Teach will never use student data for commercial purposes. If you are a representative for a school, school district or an organization and you need a signed data processing agreement with us to comply with GDPR/FERPA or other regulations, reach out to privacy@swiftteach.com and you will get access and help with any questions you may have.
The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information:Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- Creating an account on Swift Teach
- Processing a subscription payment using Stripe
- We use the information that you have given us in order to manage
your Swift Teach account and give you access to our tools.Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases werely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting us via email at privacy@swiftTeach.com
(b) We have a contractual obligation.
(c) We have a legal obligation.
(d) We have a legitimate interest.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored. We keep your personal information for the time you have a subscription with Swift Teach. We will then dispose your information by deleting your records from the secure server on which they are stored.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
- Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
- Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectifypersonal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
- Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase yourpersonal information in certain circumstances.
- Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us toestrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
- Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to theprocessing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
- Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that wetransfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation,or to you, in certain circumstances.
- You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
